Day 1
Travel to Llandudno making suitable comfort stops along the way. Arrive at hotel with time to freshen up and purchase a pre-dinner drink before your evening meal.
DDay 2
Today enjoy a scenic drive through the Snowdonia National Park, boasting vast areas of natural beauty and unique scenery. In the morning we visit the delightful village of Betws-y-Coed, one of the honeypot locations in Snowdonia. We then travel through the centre of Snowdonia's National Park to Porthmadog, a harbour town rich in maritime history, situated on the Glaslyn Estuary. Afterwards we stop at the National Slate Museum in Llanberis and discover the history of the slate, the traditional craft of the quarrymen. Watch an entertaining slate splitting demonstration and wander around the museum at your leisure. There will be time to purchase afternoon tea here before we return to our hotel.
B, DDay 3
Free day in Llandudno. Take a stroll along the promenade and/or pier and opportunity to browse the many shops Llandudno has to offer.
B, DDay 4
In the morning visit Caernarfon, made a Royal Town in 1974, it has a maze of narrow streets enclosed within the old town walls and is dominated by its magnificent 13th-century castle, built by Edward I and where he created his son as the first Prince of Wales in 1301. The town is a major visitor destination and has many shops and restaurants. Time to purchase lunch here before visiting Llanfair PG on the Isle of Anglesey. Visit the famous woollen mill with time to purchase afternoon tea before returning to hotel.
B, DDay 5
We return to home area stopping in Lichfield for lunch to be obtained.
