We have been working behind the scenes with Galloway to be able to offer you an even wider range of UK and Continental Holidays, this enables us to offer you more choice and some exciting NEW destinations. As these Holidays will be offered by both companies, we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Day 1

We depart home area and make suitable comfort stops enroute to Fishguard where we join Stena Line for our afternoon ferry crossing (3¼-hours) across the Irish Sea to Rosslare. Afterwards we travel a short distance to our overnight hotel, The Talbot Hotel in Wexford where we will be welcomed with a cup of tea/coffee upon arrival whilst our overnight case is taken to our room. Time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast we travel along the east coastal route to Avoca, the filming location for 'Ballykissangel' and home to Avoca Handweavers, Ireland's oldest weaving mill. We continue our journey alongside the Wicklow Mountains National Park via Wicklow to Bray for our lunch stop. Bray is known as the 'Gateway to the Garden of Ireland's and is the longest established seaside town in Ireland. Afterwards we continue our journey through the heart of Southern Ireland to our main hotel and arrive early afternoon. Time to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink before your evening meal.

Day 3

Today we travel a short distance to the pretty town of Athlone, perched on the banks of Ireland's longest river, the Shannon. Spend time at leisure discovering this town which is also home to Sean's Bar- Ireland's oldest pub.

Day 4

This morning we travel west to the colourful city of Galway which was named in 2020 as the European Capital of Culture - and for good reason! Galway is an exciting, lively town with something to interest everyone, from the beautiful colours of its portside houses to the infectious rhythms of the traditional Irish music found in almost every pub and bar. We take a scenic 90-minute cruise aboard the Corrib Princess from Woodquay, in the heart of the city, along the majestic River Corrib and into Lough Corrib. During the cruise you will hear about Galway's ancient past, Celtic mythology and the resident dancers will wow you with their professional Irish dancing. We spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure in Galway.

Day 5

This morning we make our way to the impressive Birr Castle Gardens, where we have time to wander around the awardwinning gardens, home to an abundance of rare plants collected by the Earls of Rosse on their travels around the world over the last 150 years. After free time for lunch in Birr, we enjoy a scenic 1-hour river cruise from Shannonbridge to Clonmacnoise, taking in the stunning natural beauty of the Shannon waterway as we relax. Upon arrival, we explore the spectacular Clonmacnoise monastery which was founded in the 6th century.

Day 6

After breakfast we depart our hotel and return to Wexford to our overnight hotel making a stop enroute in Kilkenny, a medieval town. Its grand Kilkenny Castle was built in 1195 by Norman occupiers. The town has deep religious roots and many well-preserved churches and monasteries, including imposing St. Canice's Cathedral and the Black Abbey Dominican priory, both from the 13th century. It is also a crafts hub, with shops along its winding lanes selling pottery, paintings and jewellery.

Day 7

After an early breakfast we catch the 8am return ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard and arrive home area early evening.
