G&K Shared Tour

We have been working behind the scenes with Galloway to be able to offer you an even wider range of UK and Continental Holidays, this enables us to offer you more choice and some exciting NEW destinations. As these Holidays will be offered by both companies, we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Day 1

We depart home area late morning and make our way to Polhill Shopping Village for lunch to be purchased. We then continue to our hotel in Eastbourne arriving mid-afternoon with time to freshen up and enjoy a drink in the bar before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast visit Rye, a town near the coast in East Sussex. In the centre, cobbled lanes like Mermaid Street are lined with medieval, half-timbered houses. Nearby, the tower of the Norman St. Mary's Church overlooks the town. The 14th-century Ypres Tower, which formed part of Rye's defences, is now Rye Castle Museum (free entrance to the museum but donations requested), with paintings and displays on local history. Time here to purchase lunch before we visit Hastings, a town full of charm with half-timbered houses, narrow streets and passageways, known locally as 'twittens'. It was once named 'Portobello Road on Sea' by the Times. The town has a collection of Antique shops and vintage galleries.

Day 4

After breakfast we travel towards the South Downs and visit Arundel, a charismatic and stylish market town famous for its landmarks Arundel Castle and Arundel Cathedral. Afterwards re-join the coach and travel a short distance to Chichester, nestled in the foot of the South Downs. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has an enticing mix of high street shops and stylish restaurants and cafes.
