Enjoy the crisp, fresh air and wonderful mountains scenery of the South Tyrol.

 

DAY 1: Your Door to Door service will transfer you to the airport for your flight. On arrival our local coach will transfer us to the Chalet Hotel Diamant, in San Martino in Badia our base for the next 7 nights.

 

• During our stay, the following excursions are included:

 

• A visit to Cortina D’Ampezzo known as the Queen of the Dolomites, steeped in history and one of the most famous ski destinations.

 

• Bressanone the oldest town in the South Tyrol and Bolzano city. A mixture of Austrian tradition and the Dolce Vita of Italy where you can discover the charm of typical Christmas markets.

 

• Visit, wine tasting and snacks at Novacella Abbey one of the oldest active wineries in the world.

 

• Stroll through the characteristic streets in Campo Tures. A market town situated in the Tauferer Ahrntal alley of the Ahr river.

 

• Enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride amongst the enchanted Plan de Corones Woods.

 

• Visit the Nativity Scene Museum Maranatha; the most imaginative nativity scene exhibition in the world.

 

• Lake Braies, listed as one of the most beautiful lakes in the South Tyrol.

 

• Visit the villages of Dobbiaco, San Candido and Brunico for traditional and homemade wares sold from beautiful Christmas stalls.

 

• The Messner Mountain Museum, located in Brunico Castle in Ripa. This is a project by the famous mountaineer Reinhold Messer to bring together 6 local mountains each with its own museum and alldedicated all mountain peoples, cultures and activities.

 

DAY 8: Today we say goodbye to our winter wonderland. Our local coach will transfer us to the airport for our return flight back to the UK and your Door to Door service home.

Amongst breathtaking views stands the Chalet Hotel Diamant. This very traditional hotel is set in the centre of San Martino village. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, bathrooms with bath or shower, minibar terrace/balcony, safe, telephone, satellite TV and hairdryer. Hotel facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub.
