Day 1
Following collection from home you will join the coach and travel to Liverpool arriving int the afternoon at the Aloft Hotel for our four-night dinner, Bed & Breakfast stay. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be served on arrival.
DDay 2
Today we make the short journey into the historic city of Chester. The day is then free for you to explore - the unique 2 storey 'Rows' of shops are worth a look, or you may fancy a gentle stroll to the River Dee a perhaps take a boat trip, or take a walk around the ancient Roman Walls.
B, DDay 3
Today we journey to Southport, an attractive Victorian seaside resort with pleasant gardens and the elegant Lord Street shops.
B, DDay 4
This morning our excursion takes us through the Mersey Tunnel to the Wirral. We then make the short journey to Port Sunlight, where we enjoy a guided tour of Port Sunlight Village, built by William Hesketh Lever for his factory workers and named after his famous Sunlight soap. This is a superb example of how life used to be. After our visit we return to Liverpool for free time to explore.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.
