G&K Shared Tour

We have been working behind the scenes with Galloway to be able to offer you an even wider range of UK and Continental Holidays, this enables us to offer you more choice and some exciting NEW destinations. As these Holidays will be offered by both companies, we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Day 1

With a comfort stop on route, travel to Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. See the State Rooms with their priceless collections of portraits, tapestries and furniture. Discover the unique history of the Formal Gardens, reflecting a journey through the styles of the ages. Here we enjoy our quintessentially British treat with an elegant English Afternoon Tea. Each Afternoon Tea includes freshly made traditional sandwiches with seasonal inclusions, a selection of home-made cakes, scones and delicacies. Each tea is also accompanied by still or sparkling Blenheim water for a refreshing taste which couldn't be found closer to the source. Afterwards, continue to the boutique Queens Hotel in Cheltenham where we freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast, this morning our first visit is at Cirencester, known as the Capital of the Cotswolds. Cirencester is renowned for its very special shops, individual boutiques, fascinating antique emporiums and craft shops. The Charter Market also runs every Monday*. We have time to explore the town before moving onto Bourton on the Water to purchase lunch. This popular village is often referred to as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' because of the attractive little bridges that cross the gently flowing River Windrush, which runs through the centre of the village. After some time at leisure, we return to home area making a suitable comfort stop on route.

B=Breakfast Included, D=Evening Meal Included

Set amongst the backdrop of Cheltenham’s fashionable Montpellier district, the Queens Hotel offers a civilised haven for guests. Glide through the revolving doors and discover a truly majestic setting, complete with décor and architecture which encapsulates the elegance, heritage and grandeur of the neo-classical era.
