G&K Shared Tour

We have been working behind the scenes with Galloway to be able to offer you an even wider range of UK and Continental Holidays, this enables us to offer you more choice and some exciting NEW destinations. As these Holidays will be offered by both companies, we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Day 1:

Travel to Scotland making suitable comfort stops along the way and arrive at the hotel in Dundee, where we have a cup of tea/coffee on arrival with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

D

Day 2:

After breakfast spend the morning at leisure in Dundee, Scotland's sunniest city. Dundee boasts a fast-changing revitalised waterfront, the centre piece of which the striking V&A Museum (free entry) combined with its historic attractions make Dundee a great city to visit. In the afternoon we visit the Blair Athol Distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, for an entertaining guided tour around the distillery. After the tour you can mull over the distinctive character of the finished article as you sip your dram of Blair Athol 12-Year-Old. On our return journey to our hotel, we stop in nearby Pitlochry, the largest town in Highland Perthshire. There are a variety of shops and places to purchase afternoon tea.

B, D

Day 3:

After breakfast we visit the world-famous Kelpies, the largest equine sculpture in the world. Unveiled in April 2014, these 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures are a monument to Scotland's horse powered industrial heritage. Take part in a 30-minute guided tour. Afterwards we continue to Edinburgh with free time and time to purchase an evening meal before our performance of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, an exciting evening awaits us.

B

Day 4:

After a late breakfast we depart for Glamis Castle, renowned for being Scotland's most beautiful castle and the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. We then take a leisurely drive to Aberdeen, known as the 'Granite city'. Take a walk along Union Street which is lined with these classic granite buildings that helps make this 'one of the most architecturally distinctive cities in Europe'. This isn't just a city by the sea, it's a city of the sea. A city where ships dock right up against the city-centre streets. Where urban dolphins leap at the harbour mouth. And golden sands stretch for miles - towards vast dunes to the north and high cliffs to the south. Time to purchase lunch and spend the afternoon before returning to our hotel.

B, D

Day 5:
