Day 1
Depart from your home and travel to Carmarthen, arriving late afternoon at the Ivy Bush Hotel for 2 nights stay.
DDay 2
We spend the morning in the city of Swansea, with its long bay which gives fantastic views over the coast. Swansea is home to a host of museums, independent stores and interesting attractions which will give you more than enough to enjoy in the city. This afternoon we head north-west to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Set in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, the Garden is a fascinating blend of the modern and historic with a variety of gardens and other interesting things to see.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home. Making a stop at the fascinating Royal Mint Experience at Llantrisant where we can learn about how the coins we use every day are made.

Hotel: Ivy Bush, Carmarthen
The Ivy Bush Royal Hotel is within walking distance of Carmarthen town centre and was once a favourite retreat for Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton, sympathetically modernised, the hotel retains its old-world charm blended with modern day facilities. All bedrooms are en suite, and all have television, telephone, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
