After breakfast travel to Seaton where we travel back in time on board a vintage style tram car. Travel the 3-mile route through East Devon's Axe Valley between the coastal resort of Seaton, the village of Colyford and the ancient town of Colyton. Enjoy some time at leisure, then return via tram to Seaton with time to purchase lunch in town. Afterwards, re-join the coach and travel to the beautiful market town of Axminster, set within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town is filled with traditional charm and character.B, D
After breakfast visit Exmouth, one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon. Departing from Exmouth Marina, board the Stuart Line boat for a relaxing River Exe Cruise (approx. 75-minutes). This is the best way to see the stunning scenery, wildlife and nature of this award-winning river. Afterwards, spend the afternoon at leisure. Exmouth is the gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and has two miles of sandy beach with numerous shops and restaurants.B, D
After breakfast we return to home area via Salisbury for lunch to be purchased. Salisbury is known as 'the city in the countryside' and is home to beautiful timbered buildings, an English Gothic Cathedral (home to the Magna Carta), and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from.B
