Harrogate Fizz & Fayre

Day 1

We travel to our hotel stopping in the picturesque town of Newark which stands on the River Trent. On arrival at our hotel, enjoy a cup of tea/coffee whilst your luggage is taken to your room. Time to freshen up before your pre-dinner mulled wine drinks reception followed by your evening meal.

Day 2

Enjoy a morning at leisure in Harrogate. Why not treat yourself to lunch at the famous Betty's Tea Rooms located nearby. Take a look around the many delightful shops this town has to offer. In the afternoon enjoy a mini afternoon tea with a glass of festive fizz.

Day 3

After breakfast we take a short ride through the edge of the Yorkshire Dales to the pretty town of Skipton. Take a look around the market and obtain refreshments in one of the many cafes and tea rooms. Afterwards we visit Haworth, home of the famous Bronte sisters and with its cobbled main street, iconic parsonage, the picturesque proportions of this Airedale village exude a vintage charm that makes you feel you have stepped into another era and attracts visitors from all around the world.

Day 4

After breakfast we depart hotel and return to home area stopping in the delightful town of Stamford, home to over 400 Grade II listed limestone buildings. The town has been used for the setting for many period dramas, i.e. Pride and Prejudice, Bleak House and Middlemarch. There are many tea rooms to obtain lunch and many individual shops to browse.
