One of the brightest jewels in the English Rivieras crown, as you arrive in the seaside resort of Paignton, you are met with the welcoming sight of its long stretch of beautiful beachfront, promenade, traditional pier, colourful beach huts and green. Sit back and relax on board the Dartmouth Steam Railway in Great Western tradition as you journey along the spectacular Torbay coast, then admire the views during a boat cruise from Dartmouth. Combined with visits to other jewels in the English Riviera, youll be set to make some fantastic memories.

Day 1:
With a comfort stop on route, travel to the cathedral city of Winchester for lunch to be purchased.
DDay 2:
After breakfast we board the Dartmouth Steam Railway to Kingswear, then cross the River Dart on their foot passenger ferry to Dartmouth, where we board one of their boats for a circular River Cruise (approx. 1hr) around the river and estuary. The cruise takes us to the mouth of the river passing Kingswear & Dartmouth Castles, Dittisham village, Britannia Royal naval College and Greenway House, home to the late Dame Agatha Christie. Keep your eyes peeled for the various wildlife that can be seen - Dolphins, Seals, Herons, Egrets, Buzzards and Kingfisher if you're quick enough. Enjoy time at leisure in Dartmouth to purchase lunch before heading back to Kingswear for our return steam train ride to Paignton.
B, DDay 3:
Spend the day of leisure in Paignton. Enjoy a walk along the promenade, visit the many shops or even visit Paignton Zoo (price not included, approx. £17 pp); home to over 2000 animals, a jungle express train and there are plenty of places to get something to eat.
B, DDay 4:
This morning, visit the traditional seaside resort of Torquay, famous for its coastline nicknamed the English Riviera. Torquay has many cafes, shops and a marina. In the afternoon visit Cockington Village, a treasured local heritage gem and working residential village. As well as its centre piece, the Grade II listed Cockington Court, the village comprises of a working forge, waterwheel and medieval church. Opportunity to purchase a Devonshire cream tea in one of the lovely little tea rooms here before returning to our hotel.
B, DDay 5:
Return to home area stopping at Wilton Shopping Village for lunch to be purchased.
